Cleaning honeywell safes- mildew smell? I have 2 safes- maybe 1.75 sq ft and 1 sq ft. Anyway, I left some stuff that was moist in there for a year or so. It smells like mildew and anything I put in there smells like mildew shortly after. What is the best way to clean them (I'd like to store some coins/bills, silver, gold, etc)? Would it be better just to get a new safe? Thanks!

Is the Honeywell HZ 519 safe to use around my African Grey? The honeywell HZ 519 is a convection heater. (Space heater). I am using it currently and I do not want it to harm my bird. The website says the only heaters it makes with teflon is fan heaters...and I am assuming this is not a fan heater, but I am just concerned.

Opening a honeywell safe? Lost keys? Okay, so here's the situation. I lost the keys to my honeywell safe and I can't figure out how to open it. But, I've tried to open it by force and now the key-hole is all demented, so if I did happen to find my keys, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work. BUT. I've noticed the wire in the back and I've been trying to push it out through the little hole they put it in through. Did they like fucking super-glue it in or something? I have stuff in there I need REALLY soon.
How should i bolt down my safe? I have a fire proof and water proof honeywell safe that has no holes to bolt down.... Would screwing into the back of the safe to attach some kind of hook be okay as far as the safe is concerned? I dont want to drill into it and damage the safe if it does not work...

My safe is locked out, how do i fix it? My electronic keypad access honeywell safe's door is open but the keypad refuses to function. I replaced new batteries and let it sit for hours but when i disconect the power supply and reconnect the keypad lights up and then it emits a long tone. When i push a key the red light flashes once and does not make a noise.
will the Honeywell 50250 99.97% Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier be good to use when oil painting? will this be good to use when oil painting and if so will it get everything out of the air so im safe when oil painting. and how long do i leav it on? and do i still need to open a window when painting
How safe is the air we breathe from humidifiers? Over the years I have tried multiple models of high end humidifiers (Venta, Honeywell, Vornado) and have followed the cleaning/ filter changing instructions diligently. Within a short while it seems the humidifiers emit a moldy or mildewy smell. I can't tell exactly what we're breathing but it's just not fresh. Is this safe? Is it par for the course and worth the benefit of more humid air in the winter? Now we have a little one and certainly don't want to be putting pollutants in our home.
Why will my new thermostat not work the air cond. but the heat works fine.? My old honeywell thermostat wouldn't work when switched the heat on. So I replaced it with a new Hunter thermostat and now the heat works but the air conditoner won't or the manual fan. wired as R to R, G to G, Y to Y, red wire to rh, black wire to rc. disconected black wire for now just to be safe.
New fan smell : How long should it take for it to disappear, and is it harmful? I bought a new window fan (Honeywell HW628 by Kaz) and althought it works very well, it emits a strange "mechanical-like" odor. The distributor says that it's because of the lubricant put into the fan motor and that it should dissipate if you keep it running for 24-48 hrs. I've done that and while the smell has certainly been reduced, it's only been by about 40-50%. The smell still persists and I want to know how long it should take for it to go away completely and is it harmful in any way to inhale these excess lubricant odors (until it fully dissipates). Sidebar question: Is it safe (for the fan) to be run off an electric timer (ie. so that the fan would be automatically turned on and off about 12 times per day)? I run the fan on the lowest speed setting. PS: I tried a different model and it had the exact same odor so I don't think there's any particular defect with this one.
Do you think ESPN would cover the Penitentiary league games if Bonds & Clemens were on the same team? Would MasterLock or Honeywell safes & security be good sponsors for the game? Would you trade both Spears & Lohan for either Bonds or Clemens? Would Bonds scale the wall in left if there were a guard w/a gun at the top? Would Clemens bring the high, hard heat if he has to shower with the batter later? Would Bonds & Clemens make a nice prison couple? If Bonds & Clemens shared a cell and were allowed to get a cat, what would they name the cat? (& plz don't say "Rocket" because you know Barry wouldn't allow that!)
Why does the heater fan run when the heater is not in use, ie when I have it turned off.? I just had a Honeywell Pro Th3000 Series installed. The heater has been running pretty well, but today, the heater fan kept running nonstop for about four hours. There is no off switch. It's "auto" or "on" for the fan and cool, off, or heat for the unit. It is safe for the fan to run nonstop? There is really no one to call today - being new years. Please respond. I really appreciate your help. Thank you for your quick responses! I really appreciate your help!
I have an old electronic air cleaner attached to our furnace. How do I know if it works and is safe to use? The furnace and air cleaner say General Electric. But there is also a piece that says Honeywell? There was a disposable 16x20 filter inside next to the heavy metal filter.
Is it safe to store an oil filled radiator heater in a shed? One like this http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HZ-709-Radiator-Digital-Controls/dp/B000FVAK8G I have 2 that I used for heating in the winter, it's getting warm now and they are taking up space.
Lockpicking a cheap personal safe! Need help!!!? I have a honeywell safe just like this guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in1ijjzUKwI I bought the safe to keep things in it while i was in college, but the battery is dead and I lost the keys for it. I've tried following the video, but I don't own a lockpick kit, and i don't have the money to go out and buy one. So what can I use to pick the lock and (if possible) what detailed instructions will help me get the thing open? (I'm hoping theres a couple bucks in there...lol) I'd replace the batteries if they weren't located on the inside of the box...stupid design. And yes, this is 110%, totally and completely legit. God smite me now if i'm lying. I don't have the money and nobody will believe me. This is a serious matter for me, I have important things in the box, such as my passport, birth certificate and some other keys that I need. I don't need the whiny talk that i'm not legit. I just want to pop the lock, replace the batteries, and keep using it without tearing the stupid thing open and never use it again. Ok, if you watch the youtube video, i have the exact same box. Not bolted down. And the guy picked the lock. All I want to know is if I can use like a paperclip or something and a screwdriver instead of a torque wrench to pop the lock. I don't want to pay for a lock smith, I don't want to buy a lock pick kit (I would have no use for it anyways), I just want to open it.
I need to get into my roommate's safe!? My roommate has left for this semester, however, I had asked him to hold onto some of my things in his safe. I need to get them out of there, and unfortunately, I'm not able to get a hold of him to get the combination. I had it on a piece of paper a while ago which seems to have disapperaed. He has a Honeywell brand safe with a keypad lock and just a regular key lock as well. The keypad has numbers 1-5 on it and an asterisk which I assume is the "enter" key. I'm not sure what model it is, but any help would be appreciated! P.S. I would prefer not to break the crap out of it.
Are YOU a safe person? lol, ok. i REALLY need your help, my precious angels(: my dad's workplace is having a "tagline" contest. prize = $200. which i really need to pay off my fees. he works for honeywell. the slogan thingy has to: -be 5 words or less. -and about how honeywell is a SAFE and DEPENDABLE company. lol. thanks for your help(: any input or ideas appreciated! even if it's off the top of your head! :] help me, and i'll love you forever! <3 lol, it's an electronics company. beeees, lol.
Is a thumb drive or hard drive safe in a fire proof box? Would a thumb drive or hard drive stored in a fireproof box (such as the honeywell ones) survive a fire? Would it melt or corrupt the data? Thanks
which home safe is better? Honeywell 1104 Molded Fire/Water Chest (.38 cu') or SentrySafe DS0200 Safe 1 Hour Fireproof Combination Safe, 0.8 Cubic Feet, Black the Honeywell one doesn't seem to be theft resistant? The sentry safe doesn't seem to be waterproof? can anyone tell me which one is better? y is Honeywell better?

How long until we have these flying around our cities? http://www.tunersandmodels.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/hk_aerial_2029.jpg ORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- A new piece of technology may soon be coming to South Florida, but is already raising concerns from residents. The Miami-Dade Police Department recently finalized a deal to buy a drone, which is an unmanned plane equipped with cameras. Drones have been used for years in Iraq and Afghanistan in the war against terror. Many residents are concerned that the new technology will violate their privacy. MDPD purchased a drone named T-hawk from defense firm Honeywell to assist with the department's Special Response Team's operations. The 20-pound drone can fly for 40 minutes, reach heights of 10,500 feet and cruise in the air at 46 miles an hour. "It gives us a good opportunity to have an eye up there. Not a surveilling eye, not a spying eye. Let's make the distinction. A surveilling eye to help us to do the things we need to do, honestly, to keep people safe," said Miami-Dade Police Director James Loftus. The purchase of the drone may have been made possible through a federal grant; however, this has not been confirmed. Honeywell has applied to the FAA for clearance to fly the drone in urban areas. This has never been allowed before, but if it does happen, the Miami-Dade Police Department will be the first police agency in the US to use the technology http://www.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/21003198189967/ I'm really starting to hate this nation, despite the fact that if cut, I bleed red, white, and blue. Actually, the Constitution is cool, as are the Founding Fathers. It's just the sleeping Americans that I'm really starting to despise, as well as the obligatory hatred for our corrupt government.
Do you use a space heater ever? My house is very unevenly heated. What is the safest one, is there such a thing as a safe space heater? My daughter's malfunctioned and went as high as 97F. It was a honeywell. I am going to contact the company and never use it again. She doesn't get the blanket thing yet and I want her to be warm at night. Any suggestions? Please, no rude comments. Ours does turn off when it tips. I thought honeywell was the safest. We have used it for 17 months and really this is the first problem. I am quite upset and so thank ful nobody was harmed. I would still like people to know about the product malfunction Really great suggestions, thank you. I will add more layers. It has been a cold May....we have another on the way and the babies room gets the best heat in the house, weird. We are just hoping it will get a little warmer and maybe next fall she will get the blanket thing. I am just still so traumatized that her heater went up to 97!
Oil Furnace temp. too high...? Hi, I just noticed that our oil furnace here at home (when the circulator was on to one of the upstairs zones) had its pressure at around 20-22PSI and its temperature at 210F! That temperature seems quite high to me...the burner was on not too long before it I checked it and had been off for a few minutes when I looked at the temperature. I know nothing about furnaces, but I checked the Honeywell settings box on the side of the furnace and the "Hi" temperature setting is only set to 180F... The unit was just cleaned and serviced on August 11th, 2011. I just looked again now (15 minutes later) and the temperature is now down to about 190F. Is the fact that my boiler is reaching 210F instead of it's "Hi" 180F setting normal/safe, or should I be calling a technician...? Thanks! :)
I found black mold in my house? Hi, I have a son who is almost five who has been chronically constipated and nothing, absolutely nothing, besides an enema, is helping. My baby is suddenly constipated as well, and her nose has been stuffy for months. My skin broke out weeks ago with eczema and I have not had eczema in years. So yesterday when I was vacuuming, I noticed on the wall near the floor what looked like black hairy stuff. I immediately cleaned it, but I knew there had to be more. I found some mold on the wall behind our bed where my baby sleeps, and behind the dresser was more black mold, not a lot. My husband told me to clean it up and didn't realize the health risk that this poses on me or my baby, since I am breastfeeding. Today we thoroughly cleaned the house, checked everywhere once more for mold, bought dust covers and a Honeywell air filter. My daughter is still stuffy and my son has still needed enemas. I don't know whether digestive problems are linked to mold but I think I saw that on one symptom list. I am wondering what I need to do at this point. My husband thinks the home is safe and I don't feel comfortable, but he will sit here and not worry abou anything while I constantly read that staying here could impact my children's health and development. I am worried. What should I do? Should I leave my husband if he doesn't want to move or get our drywall inspected at least? My son already has autism and this is not his first time being exposed to mold. I am terrified that I assumed my husband was on top of all this and feel like we have severely wronged our children.

Broken small Honeywell safe, PLEASE HELP URGENT!!? I have a small, 2x2 ft safe approximately, and Its an older honeywell model, so it has a key on the left, in the middle a knob to turn either unlock or lock, and an old keypad that hasn't worked in years. So today, I opened it up, and as i was locking it with the key and turning the knob, the knob kind of went of balance. So after much work, I finally got the plastic cover of the knob off, now all i see it a small metal rectangle in the middle, and on the "Unlock" and "Lock" part theres these small white and black things. Does anyone know if theres a way to get this open? I can provide pictures if this info isnt enough. http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS441US441&biw=1366&bih=643&tbm=isch&tbnid=6kNM3dynTIw3tM:&imgrefurl=http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/sa-xd-xd-m-accessories/58690-honeywell-safe-review.html&docid=fEKeBInsbUUH7M&imgurl=http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g319/bignick31985/100_0739.jpg&w=1024&h=768&ei=SlEsT_mGDubU2AWG2Pn2Dg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=382&vpy=338&dur=46&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=127&ty=116&sig=103825919435834372039&page=1&tbnh=135&tbnw=198&start=0&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:0 That is the exact safe I have, and in the middle is the part I took off.

How to open Honeywell 2050 safe? My boyfriend forgot the code to his Honeywell 2050 safe. It comes with keys, but he never took them out of the box. I threw the box out this weekend, not realizing there were keys in it. Does anyone know if there is some way to open the safe? Is it possible to go to Wal-Mart, buy the same safe and use the keys from that one or are the keys unique to each individual safe? Please help!
How do I open this little safe thing I have? http://www.honeywellstore.com/security-and-safety/cash-and-security-boxes/3010 That's ^^^ what I have. Just a little box that you can put cash, coins, and keys into, from Honeywell. I lost the keys to it, so how do I open it? They were just stupid little keys, not heavy-duty ones.
