Outdoor Christmas Decorations - safe while not home? I have a timer, and they would come home about an hour before I get home. Is this safe to do? I also have to find another extension cord for outside use. I have 2, but I need 1 with multiple outlets (I don't think that exists). Right now, I have some of the lights on an indoor extension cord. They aren't plugged now. Please advise.

my cat is allergic to mosquito bites, any safe home remedies out there? my cat gets terrible bumps on his ears and i have figured out over time that it is mosquitos. they don't bother him that much but it looks terrible and when he scratches them sometimes they open and put him at risk for infection. i've called the vet and even his insurance company for help but they have no cure. i have slowed the problem with a weak mixture of skin-so-soft and water but still the problem persists. p.s. i'm not putting catnip oil on my cats head, he's hyper enough already. there is no professional product for repelling mossquitos from cats. he won't eat anything that smells like garlic and the problem with mosquitoes at my house has to do with an abundance of city land that is unkempt, i can't control that. as for keeping the cat inside, not going to happen. i could keep my kids inside also and that would prevent them from a lot of communicable diseases and other problems, that is also not going to happen. if i kept him inside i'd just have to worry about a whole different set of problems...obescity, depression, poisoning...

Is it better to buy a home safe with a digital lock or a combination lock?
