Has anyone used the product Lamina Saver and is it safe to use with Bute/Banamine? My horse has been on Bute for laminitis and recently had some IM Banamine. I have a call to my vet for information, but thought that you, the community, could give me some feedback while I wait. I tried Equiox once and it didn't seem to help with his pain, so I went back to Bute. I have used oral Bute and IM Banamine under the direction of the vet.

Is it safe to use cooking utensils for cooking once it had been used to dye fabrics? Basically, I just bought some fabric dye and the instruction calls for simmering the fabric for 20 minutes and dye for an hour. I really like that pot for cooking, however it is the only pot I have that are big enough for dying fabrics.

I just recently had some used cast iron skillets and pots given to me. How do I know if they are safe to use? They do so some wear but I am not sure if I can safely use them for cooking. There is no rust but they have been in storage for some time. Should I wash them? If so, how? Do I need to season them before cooking? Is it safe to used shared bottles at daycare after being washed? The daycare I am going to be using provides bottles and formula at no cost. Well, I heard they share the bottles there. They wash them in the dishwasher after each feeding. I am a germaphobe and plan on using my own bottles but was just curious if this is sanitary or not? How should you store your used frying oil? At Thanksgiving is deep fried a turkey in peanut oil. When i was done i strained the oil through a piece of cheese cloth and returned the oil to the original plastic container it came in.
