Any beach Bungalows in Thailand with Safes?
Will be in thailand in May: Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan (3 weeks). Will be looking to stay in bungalows BUT will also have an expensive SLR camera with me. Do the bungalows have safes? If not, will they let you use a safe in the main building? Can you recommend bungalows with safes? Thank you!

- The hotels and resorts either have room safe or have a hotel safe for safe-keeping expensive things forguests. Why not bring a cheaper alternative if you are so worried about it?
- These days, most tourist area hotels have in room safes - if not, they most surely offer access to the hotel safe at the front desk. A note- those electronic combination safes that many hotels have in the room's closet area are NOT secure and can not be counted on to store valuables. I've seen regular maids open these with their master key cards before. Also, check with the hotel front desk - most will usually state that they are NOT liable for valuables lost in the in-room safes. My advice- bring your expensive SLR with you wherever you go. You're planning on taking phots anyway, right? Chok Dee (good luck)
- Most of them will allow you to use their safe in front desk. If you come to Samui, I would recommend Zazen Bungalow. It's a bit expensive than the others but worth for safety holiday
- Some bungalows, has safe in the room. However, keep with front desk could be safer... About good bungalows, try this website... click on hotel or resort's name, then it would give you all info like room rate, photo of accommodation, and previous customer reviews ect... Have a nice trip. p.s. this site got low rate guarantee with good secure..
- it depends on the hotel or the resort you choose but now most of them have safes either in the room or the reception building when you reserve the room check on the hotels or the resorts site if the rooms has safes or not
