is the safes in the hotels in florida safe to leave your money in?

Safes are the "safest" way to keep valuables in a hotel - in room ones - you have the key (be sure to take with you!), Front Desk ones - they have to much activity around to not be honest, but I always ask for written "receipt" or something signed just in case. But don't leave anything in the room if maid service is requested - they know all the hiding places. I usually request service while I'm there if I can't lock stuff up.
I would say yes, since I didnt have any problems when I was down there for my honeymoon. I stayed near the walt disney park and had no problems. Also, I have used many safes all across the US and even Mexico and never had a problem. All the safes I used where in the room. I just made sure I changed the code.
