What is the best work out to build the muscles for pole vaulting?

I am just starting pole vaulting and i need to build up my muscles. What is the best thing to do for pole vaulting muscles

  1. I pole vaulted in HS and college. One of the best things that i did was go find a tall swing set and climb the support poles hand over hand, and do hip raises at the top as this really mimics the motions of a pole vault. got more questions, email me
