How decomposed would a human body be after 2 months?

I am doing a forensic course and i have asked this question before but didn't get the answer i was looking for. okay say if a body went through emablming and was put inside a coffin within a burial vault 6feet under how decomposed would it be after this length of time?

1. well it depends on what time of the season and year , depends if the earth is soiled or not, but where i live , the app time is 2months and thats in the summer but thats only where i live , they made an experiment on animal's and it was 2months
2. It could be completely decomposed or it could be completely intact. There is no way to know that, there are too many factors that affect the answer, such as how well the person was embalmed, what type of chemicals were used, the type of casket, type of vault, climate, etc. I can guarantee you though, that 2 months is a wholly incorrect answer, as there is no way to know other than exhumation! I have seen someone who was buried for 70 years and looked perfect, and someone buried 6 months who was decomposing. (both embalmed)
