If there were no banks, vaults or lockers, where would you keep your money?

- What money? Maybe under my mattress like my grandma did. Or in the freezer, you know - cold, hard cash.
- in a pile of dirty underwear , nobody in their right mind would look there .....
- The same place I keep it now in my wifes purse
- I dont think we would have money. We would trade for what we needed. Thats how it was before the romans. You need to think about your ? yourself or pick up a book and read history.
- i, unfortunately, do not have to worry about this, as i never have much money, i live mostly from paycheck to paycheck - no need for a bank account, sad, huh? but if i had alot of money and no bank, vault or locker, i would bury it in the ground in a plastic bag, i assume plastic is still available??? just wish i had this problem - ha!
- I'd have it somewheres in my place where no one could find it and i would also hide it from the darn IRS lol ;)
- in the olden days, i know this because i saw it on a job i was on where henry the 8th lived on w/e and what they would do is have a boy climb up the chimney, remove a brick or 2 and then put the gold or coins into the hole and put a brick back in place, or there were the water wells, they would send a boy down there to do the same thing or just leave a leather bag at the bottom and tie song string to a nail a little bit from the top, they used to carry a leather waist bag with them at all times that had all the small valuables, and when they went hunting they would hide it in 1 of these places
- In a jar, buried in the back yard, if I had any.
