  1. It seems very unlikely. Why wouldn't they just destroy such stuff? Why store it?
  2. Not a secret bank vault, but in a granite cave hewn into the side of the Wasatch Mountain Range near Salt Lake City. Exterior photo and info: http://www.lightplanet.com/mormons/daily/family_history/granite_mountain_eom.htm Interior photo: http://www.perpetualstorage.com/insidevault.jpg Kelly T: "Ol' Dozier" is happy to be of service to "y'all".
  3. I believe the "mormon church" holds the biggest database in the world.
  4. I don't know about the Mormons, but the (catholic) Vatican does. They have all kinds of secrets, because God forbid we should learn the Truth.
  5. I do wonder where that Book of Lehi ended up. Also, the sealed portion of the Golden Plates is a bit of a peculiar one. I can only imagine, however, that the various tea boxes and such like that Smith 'translated' were destroyed.
  6. Never know, do you? Don't you wish we all could just go and see every single thing in the Vatican vaults???? Somehow, secresy, accumulating vast wealth and treasures just doesn't add up in a Christian "church", does it?
  7. If it is a SECRET bank vault, why do you think that any of us would know about it?
  8. lol probably vibrators and chains and wipes
  9. I don't know if they have one or not, but if they did, we wouldn't know about it so asking about it wouldn't help much. That's kinda the whole point of a secret in the first place.
  10. The caves mentioned by ol' Dozier are full of genealogical records. The other stuff - well, I don't think it exists. People have been trying for generations to "embarrass" the church with so-called "truth", and they haven't succeeded. Like the one answerer says, we wouldn't keep that kind of stuff anyway - we'd destroy it, especially if we were perpetuating the "fraud" that so many believe our teachings consist of. There will continue to be "mentions" by so-called experts about things which do not, have not, and will not exist. The church will continue to grow, and in the end, all will know whether it's true or not.
  11. No, nothing that would cause embarassment. Think about it, why would a church store potentially embarassing items?
  12. If you want to know the truth about Mormons go to www.mormon.org.
  13. From time to time the Church acquires documents regarding Church history. About 18 years ago a forger created some letters which contained information contrary to what the Church taught. The Church attempted to buy them. You may give that any motive you wish. At the very least, if authentic, they did not want them released without researching them further. When the forger was about to be exposed, he killed a man with a pipe bomb. Because of this event the enemies of the Church have assumed there must be other documents the Church is hiding. Regardless of any facts they will spread rumors about this. They have even used the forged documents against the Church.
  14. Wow, they have a bank vault! All I know is, that if I found it, I'd steal everything from it, including the so called "Golden Plates". What a bunch of baloney!
