Is the Best western Seaport Inn at Wall Street safe at night, especially the walk to subway and back?

I am planning to stay there over the Christmas weekend.

You should be fine but you should know the nearest subway (Fulton) is a ten minute walk. A cab ride is about $4 to $6 each way. Depending on your room, you'll have a nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge so make sure to ask if you need to see it.
Yeah, I dormed in that neighborhood last year, and would walk from the subway at fulton st to just a block over from wall st. It gets complately dead down there at night, I was lucky if I saw another person walking around. I'm a young white female and I've never had any trouble. NYC isn't that unsafe anymore.
