- Duck tape, a hammer and a bed sheet.
- Okay, do it very very very very very very very very very very very carefully. I mean carefully. Seriously, it could fall on you.
- cover the mirror in tape before you try anything .....duct tape is best
- try inserting a pallate knife behind it, very carefully
- Cover it with a strong sticky plastic coating, then hammer away.
- STUCK not sticked!
- don't forget your safety goggles, boots and gloves. A hard hat and a simple mask for dust and glass splinters are good too. after taping, even masking tape go at it from the top edge with a hammer (small) and then a long handled scraper like they use for chipping ice on sidewalks or a flat spade. Clean up carefully. fine splinters go a long way. Try to use ladders or work benches to stay as much above it as possible, so that if it falls it is not on you.
- Cover it in sticky backed plastic, that way you shouldn't have shards of glass flying around. I guess you could then gently tap it with a hammer, and finish off by chiselling ot off the wall.
- TAPE OVER IT WITH DUCK TAPE,THEN GET A LENGTH OF SHARP WIRE,USING GLOVES USE THE WIRE LIKE A CHEESE SLICER+PROBLEM SOLVED.
- have a couple of friends help you , use the tape and safety gear that every one else has mentioned and have 1 person on either side of the glass with a long thin cable or abrasive wire slid up behinde the glass and work the wire back and forth like a 2 man saw while your 3rd buddy holds the front you mite get lucky and cut through the glue its worth a shot ya mite even be able to save it good luck
- safety glasses and a large piece of plywood and a hammer. place the plywood against the mirror and hit it with hammer. then scrape the chunks off
