How safe is triple wall ceramic lined Dura Vent chimney pipe? I want to run it up through the inside walls.?

What is the pipe rated for? And what kind of clearance is safe?

1. Triple wall is very safe. But it depends what it's connected to for your clearance issue. Regular furnace, wood stove? Where you purchase the pipe from is the ones to ask what it's rated for, and how much clearance you need.
2. It says it's safe,but I wouldn't use it inside a wall.
3. most triple wall pipe is designed for wood burning appliances. it is usually rated 1100 to 2100 degrees. most require 2 inch clearance to combustables. it is safe as long as it is installed properly.
4. contact the manufacturer or supplier for questions and specifications regarding pipe. Then talk to local building inspector about local code and get necessary permits. If installed incorrectly and fire results your insurance company may not be legally bound to honor your claim.
