Christians: How do you deal with today's godless times and society? Where do you go to find peace/solace?

Today's society and times are godless. They're all about getting by, surviving, business, etc. Now all of this is not always a bad thing. Businesses, happiness, activities, etc can be great even on their own, but to a true Christian, they would lack the holy spirit and starve one from their relationship from God. Medical benefits, jobs, intellectual knowledge, security, money, etc,...95% of the world's people are all caught up in that, and the dramas of life are everywhere. Life is now ALOT tougher, especially in the last few years of life. Did it say that the world's system would be on the brink of collapse, and then the anti-christ would eventually arise and try to save it all? Is that what's happening now according to Christianity? If we are indeed in those times, tell me, WHY are people so blind and continue to follow the road to hell, and trust everyone even the supposed anti-christ himself? Are people THAT dark in spirit? Is this world really that bad? Because in my experience of it, YES IT IS! It's a scary place full of self-serving, deception, lies, and false outlooks on life. Everyone is fake and plays into this whole, it's all good man, attitude, when underneath it all, it's not like that at ALL. Where does one go, physically, like to a place, to find peace and solace, if according to the Bible/God, whenever we step foot outside of our homes, we're subject to "satan." It's unfortunately true, we're only safe at home nowadays, and sometimes we're not even safe there. You're not totally safe at school, you're not totally safe at work, or the bank, or out on the street, or anywhere anymore. How can people keep denying God? Look at all the horrors in society like school shootings, police chases, all sorts of things, and they still think...well blah. How does one rise above this present-day veil of darkness that covers 90% of society? It feels like everything is just spiritually-dead, and all about survival and work and money, and that's that. Let's support Obama, or Palin, or McCain, or whoever,....let's hope for that check, that bank approved loan, bla bla.... but God,...TOTALLY not in the equation. God doesn't matter. Only brains, work, people helping you and money does. We're in a God-dead society, and it's pretty evil too. How does one deal with this? If you really do believe. This world totally challenges faith.

1. Just because I don't believe in god, doesn't make me evil. That's your belief.
2. If someone is Godless (or without God) it does not make them bad. Some atheists are much more loving and caring than some Christians. So just stop being idiotic.
3. yeah..its all true that this world is in a great chaos n confusion without Christ..Believe in God's Word- Bible...It will bring u solace and peace and hope that this world deprives u of..in this strife-stricken world,Looke upto Jesus...He is the source of comfort,peace,joy and happiness..He has promised to us peace..n dat we shud trust Him each day for it..nt jus peace bt jus evrythin wen u live life on this evil world..Hope in the Lord...n He will be with you thru storms of life..Dnt fret wen u lose some battles, just remember Jesus has already won the War... Child-raping clergy, the Inquisitions, Crusades, "witch" burnings, flying airplanes into buildings, the German holocaust, "holy" wars, murdering people because they're homosexual, or follow a different religion, or none at all, or a different brand of the same religion, etc. are/were not caused by "godlessness." There is not one iota of evidence that any god exists or has existed, so it's not about denial, it's about being intelligent enough to know that the idea of gods is absurd. Nothing real requires faith. .
5. Yes it is hard. I believe we are in the last times. These days people seem to care too much about money and looks and having a successful business and stuff! It's sad! When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior I felt so dead to this world (not psychically obviously otherwise I wouldn't be here). When you accept him you realize what an evil place the world really is. It is challenging because you are not of this world spiritually. When I go to college I see people all around just talking about meaningless stuff and being horrible about other people. Most jobs these days don't do things to help others as well and people seem to just want a job with lots of money! Also when you are around people who don't believe a lot it can be hard because they don't understand.
6. My faith is in and because of Jesus Christ. The world can believe whatever it wants to, I will trust in the Lord. Jesus said that there was a difference in what the world thinks and what His chosen think. So why would I expect the world to be any different than what Jesus has already said?
7. Dear Fearful One, There are many today, just as in the days when Jesus walked this earth, that do not believe and will not believe. The Bible tells us of a place Sodom which was filled with wickedness much like our world today. Filled with people who were out for themselves and satisfying the flesh. Homosexuality, child abuse, sexual exploitation of children, and every kind of perversion. much like our United States today. Many people today are out for themselves and are looking for something that will fill the void which is within them. But until they meet Jesus the void will always remain. One can not know love in their life without knowing and experiencing what love really is. God is Love and without Him we can not know what love is. God said that He did not place the Spirit of fear upon us. We do not have to live in fear upon this earth. When a person is born again they are separated from this world. The bible tells us that we are NOW, Sons of God. Born into the Kingdom of God. Heirs of God and Joint Heirs with Jesus Christ. Every promise is yours right here and right now. The bible also states that we are to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus provided us all the tools to accomplish this in and by the Holy Spirit. You are what you are by the grace of God. Your the Head and not the tail. Your Blessed coming in and Blessed going out. Your are Blessed and Highly Favored. Jesus said that our Father would withhold no good thing from those who loved and trusted Him. Therefor, we can not let the world effect us but rather allow the Spirit of God which is in His people to effect the world. Jesus effected everything in every place that He went. We as Sons of God are to do the same. We just need more of God in us and less of the world. Rejoice, again I say Rejoice. For Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
