I have a work laptop and im at home, im trying to connect to my wireless network....?

  1. Depends if you're connecting with the Windows wireless utility panel or with the Lap top's proprietary WIFI software. In either case you have the option after end of connection to eliminate the Network settings ( password and etc) It is safe to connect as long as : You are the only one going to use the Laptop afterwards , if not delete all the Browser history and WIFI settings. Or even easier make restore point before connecting and after you're finish restore to the previous point. Nobody would have acces to your home network unless they take that very same laptop in a near proximity to your house and so acces the WIFI network. Hope that helps
  2. What operating system? The answer is still probably yes it will remember what you connected to.
