Would it be safe for me to attach a pullup bar to a brick wall in basement?
I was looking at building a home gym and I needed somewhere to do weighted pullups. I was thinking of attaching a bar to a brick wall in my basement. I weigh 84kg and currently do pullups with an extra 20kg, so realistically if I make gains I'd want it to hold 130kg. Is this safe or should I look for another alternative?

- All depends on the size of the plugs and screws you use to attach the bar to the wall. You'll want to get some good-sized ones, to be safe. At least 8-9 cm, maybe as much as 12 cm or so. And screw into the brick, not the masonry.
