Safe Luxury

Do you feel less safe from terror now that Obama is president?

Most people in my community are scared that something will happen to us. Which is why I started doing drills at my home. My son, who is 7 has been instructed to hide under the dining room table when i sound the alarm ( a cowbell), so he can be prepared for terror. He said that since Bush left office, he feels less safe. So we are all pitching to help him. What are you doing to keep yourselves safe?

  1. Not allowing myself to board a plane with a Muslim non-American as the pilot.
  2. Further proof that Republicans are ruled by fear. You're more safe with Obama, who is engaging with the Muslim world in a way that is cutting the legs out from under Al Qaeda. Bush, on the other hand, was a recruiting poster child for Al Qaeda.
  3. Glorious Leader Comrade Obama will keep us safe. How dare anyone doubt or question the devine will of THE CHOSEN ONE
  4. Nothing has happened yet, so I will give credit where credit is due. Thanks Mr. Bush, you did a great job
  5. I have a fever and it can only be cured with more cowbell.... I use odor for my emergency drills and have perfected the art of sulfuric bursts
  6. People are generally afraid of the wrong things. The most mind-boggling dangerous thing the average person will do in his or her lifetime is to get into a car. Death by terrorist attack is microscopically small compared to that.
  7. Sending you a box of cowbells to keep your nutty-@$$ family occupied.
  8. Hell yeah I feel less safe. Anytime a Democrat is in office we ARE less safe. They think if they use diplomacy they can talk some brains into the crazed leaders of the world. My fallout shelter is nearly complete.
  9. Man, your poor kid. You're raising him up in fear...just what we need, another screwed up and ignorant American. But yeah, I feel much safer from the American right-wing tools who were in power before. Thanks for askin'.
  10. Of course I feel less safe. All the terrorists at Gitmo going back to Yemen are going to go back to training to kill us. They live and eat, and breathe to kill us. That's it. One goal. Nothing else. And we just decided to close down the place where we kept them from doing any harm to us. All so we can send our troops out to capture them again.
  11. under obama the terrorist will be the government in the form of Tyranny. Thomas jefferson said most bad government come from too much government.
  12. I feel no more or less safe than I did. The damage has already been done and hopefully we can avoid and deflect any possible attacks coming our way. One thing I do feel certain of tho, is I don't believe President Obama would shrug off any impending warnings like Bush did with 9/11. P.S.) The dining room table? Yeah, that'll help.
  13. Statistically, you are 390 times more likely to die in a car crash, than in a terrorism incident. You should spend your time (and worry) at a defensive-driving school. Stop being paranoid.
  14. None of them has made me feel safe.
  15. I hope that you are just trying to get something started here. But IF you are purposely scaring a seven year old boy with conservative claptrap then you deserve a visit from child services.
  16. Thanks for askin. Since Obama took office I feel less safe. The best things I know to do, are pay attention, use the decerment God has given me and pray. Pray very, very hard for the U.S and Americans that live here. Obama is not what he seems. What he says sounds good, infact he even makes it look good. There is something under the suface that is not safe and it is deffinatly NOT GOOD.
