Who is the guy in the infamous pole vault video from the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney?

It's just really bothered me that I don't know who the athlete in the video is (you know, the one where he gets hit in the groin by his pole after sailing over the bar). 1. Probably either Denys Yurchenko or Martin Eriksson - they were the only two Ukrainians who I am certain participated in the pole vault at the Sydney Games.
