help me my video card isn't recognized by laptop(AcerAspire4710)?

a week ago someone in my family plugged in a sony micro vault 4GB usb in my laptop I suppected it had a virus because when I plugged in my kingston mp4 to transfer some songs a new folder was added even though i didn't make a folder once i booted my mp4 to play some music it was empty so i replugged it to my notebook afterward i found out that all my files vanished but it still took up space so i reformatted it and it works after that i hid my notebook after 3 days i booted up my notebook at first it was working fine but all of a sudden when i launched a game call RAN Online it said no direct3D device detected Application will exit...... then the screen saver activated since i'm using a Windows Vista Ultimate it had windows aero technology once that activated it said "Your computer requires a new videocard with direct3D to use feature"but it had a Intel GMA 950 w/ 224mb video memory so i reinstalled all the drivers but nothing worked so can you pls help me........

  2. your video card might not support this feature. It might also occur due to a corrupted video driver or old version of DirectX. If this application ran smoothly earlier. then a system restore will solve your problem. type system restore in start menu and click on it.. choose to restore to an earlier time. choose a date when your system worked smooth and restore your pc to those settings. If it is the first time you run the application and seeing this error message, then do one thing. uninstall the application, install the video drivers again and also download the latest version of DirectX from microsoft website (DirectX+microsoft+download in google will do). after installing the video driver and directx install your application and try to run it. if you still have a problem, then i guess your card won't support this feature.
