if i share files with my 2 home computers doe's that allow access to the world?

are my files safe from the internet????

1. yes they are, because you create your own network which only the 2 computer can connect to.
2. You're sharing your files, it doesn't mean that you're opening these files to the world because you share your file in your own network with basic firewall from software(windows) and hardware (your modern). If your network isn't protected very well, only experienced hacker(s) can get access your network (be able to see your files).
