is it safe to put your personal address on an ebay account?

im creating an ebay account but is it safe to put my home address on there? or should i get a po box? does it matter? when setting up an account it requires an address, also if i were to want to buy something it would need to get to me, the real question here i guess is should i just get a po box or is it safe to use my home address w/o someone comeing to my house...

1. Um...NO!! I mean if you put your personal address on there then some creep will come and steal you...If you just put your email address on there, then you can tell the one person where you live and problem solved...and yeah...if anything you should either put a P.O box or an email address on there...and yeah, I guess it kinda matters...
2. you can get a po box but it should be safe i mean how else are they gonna get you the stuff you order if they dont know where to ship it to you. And i find it hard to believe that your address will be shown. So you should be fine double check on other users accounts to see if it shows an address. If not your fine
3. Use your home address. As a seller, I will not ship to and P.O. box
