I'm playing Sims " on the ds lite and I'm supposed to be building the bank vault?

I need to build the bank vault but it's not at city hall anymore!!!!! It's the only mission I have to do. I just went back to look at teh vault and it's there!?!?! I defintiely didn'y buy it cos the only thing I've been doing is to make enough money to get it!! And I still have all the money I needed to pay for it!!!!!!!!

1. First do you have enough money for the bank vault. If you do (i think its 3000) then are you sure that its not there and its not a different room, and third if its still not there then you just have to start a different game i guess or you could wait and see if it comes back to city hall also did you already build it it is located in the basement of the hotel
2. have you already bought it without thinking? it takes tristen some time to build the room too
