What's the difference between an illegal immigrant and a bank robber?

Let's say you have Person A who is a poor American who can barely feed his family, so he robs a bank (nobody gets hurt or anything). Person B is an illegal immigrant who comes to the US who makes no attempt to enter the country illegally and just hops across the border. What's the difference, other than that the robbery is considered more morally reprehensible to society than illegal immigration (the illegal alien will take from society as well, except he will take money in the form of tax dollars and public services such as healthcare, law enforcement, education, etc. rather than cash from the vault)??? actually, lets change the scenario to check fraud or emezzlement or something else non violent.... actually, lets change the scenario to check fraud or emezzlement or something else non violent.... my point is both are breaking the law and a cost to society; why do people defend illegal immigration?

1. They are both breaking the law. However, the bank robber is probably threatening to use physical force and needs to be taken out.

If you rob the bank you get money and with it you can do whatever you want.... Therefore, illegal immigrant uses social system and only some aspects of it simply because of some freedoms in this country. Those services are available for everyone therefore they use it... A person who robs the bank uses private money that are not intended for social services and it violates freedoms of others on a different scale that's all....
