can the bank's be mandated /legislated to list out gems and jeweleries be kept in the vault by the customers ?

The secrecy in this regards only encourages corrupts , BAD MAN , croocks , GOONs , and TERRORISTS . They keep RDX , AMMONIUM NITRATES , GRENADES , BOMBS ETC ETC in the nearest BANK'S lockers . Banks are greedy and happily become the abetor of the heinous crimes . Bank lockers are safest haven for the ill- gotton wealth by the CEOs as well as the numerous govt servant. In fact these lockers act as the commodity exchanges where lethal , incriminating documents are clean exchanged. Why the so called intelligentia , the academics , home grown industrialists speak no ills about this aspect as they themselves are the defaulters in some way or others . Banks come the best second only to religious institutions which act as the SWISS BANKS in India . What is the necessity to protect ill-gotton undeclared wealth of the DON/MAFIA/TERRORISTS/POLITICIANS /BUREAUCRATS /RAJA/MAHARAJA/NAWABS/CHHOTE NAWABS by the police , security agencies at the govt cost ( BANKS are protected by the local police ). Mere candle lights by the page 3 and their pet dogs is not sufficient. If we wish to fight terror we must fight the enemy within first. The enemy has the secured shelters in the forms of religious institutions and banks' safety vaults . We must ammend laws of the land if needed to compel declarations as well as physical verification of the wealth being kept inside the lockers. Insurance giants or LILiPUTs will do well to raise this issue thrrough some friendly member of the legislative assembly/parliament so that customers make a bee line to insure their wealth or risks theft by the banking official themselves. I see lots of chidish answers to my serious questions .Can there be a mechanism in yahoo answer to segregate wise and the novice !!!

2. You are perfectly right. You put your suggestions in Suggestion Box provided in every Bank or log on to www.merishikayat.com or lodge a complaint to police department if you are sure that RDX, grenade, bombs are kept in Bank Lockers' so that disaster can be avoided well in time.
