Does anyone know of a safe at home method to permanently straighten curly hair?

I have a friend who got a perm about a year ago. She wanted to put perm solution in her hair without the rollers to straighten her hair. I didn't think that was very safe. What do you guy's think???? Any at home suggestions???

2. don't do it at home you'll just mess up your hair u should go to a salon and get it done better expensive then hair ruining
3. She can go to a salon and they have straightening solutions for curly hair. Regular perm solutions will not work. I don't know of any home remedies. If she doesn;t like her perm, just use alot of conditioner and it will help loosen the curl. and it will eventually fall out. Straightners are really hard on your hair after perming.
