What do you think about the "Green Cemeteries" being started around the country?
Green burial seeks to return one’s remains to the earth, as directly and simply as possible. It thus avoids embalming (and its toxic chemicals), metal caskets and burial vaults that are standard features of the modern funeral. http://www.gravematters.us/faqs.html

- I think it is a great concept.
- I already plan on using one. Near where I live as we have suffered from urban sprawl we have had to dig up old cemeteries and move them. This is an ugly business. I've always hated the idea that hundreds of years from now I will still be a thing that requires resources. I had wanted to be cremated, but my husband thinks that is gross nd selfish, because he won't have a plot to visit.w With a green burial, there will a plot to visit, but it won't require resources till the end of time.
- As long as the overseer is green planning. The idea should be inclusive of the investors guarantees that the spirits are welcome, remaining in the Grace of God with that membership kept atuned. One could say you should Urn your fortune.
- I have always like the idea of just being burying in the ground and decomposing as nature intended. I would like to have tree planted over my grave (some what like a giant grave stone).
- i have never heard that before but it is an interesting concept. I think it would be cool to have them.
