1. Antonyms are opposites: off/on, hot/cold. Chocolate is NOT an antonym for vanilla--although many would say so. How can ther be an opposite to Jackal? Is there an opposite to a dog? No. A cat is not the opposite--a rival maybe--but not opposite. Even emotions can have antonyms (not just objects) such as happy & sad. There can even be more complicated ones such as belief systems. It will be interesting to see the answers you get.

3. These words do not have antonyms. Antonyms are opposites, and nouns don't tend to have opposites. There may be a few like death vs. life, but I don't see how you could have an antonym for a jackal, sarcophagus or another of these words.
