Is it safe to leave a digital picture frame on continuously?

I know that it needs to be refreshing with new pictures to keep burn in from taking place but my question is if it is safe to just leave it on when I leave work and not turn it off after I leave. Leaving it on won't shorten it's life dramatically or overheat it will it?

1. Just to be safe, I would turn it off - just like any electronic. Otherwise I'd be so paranoid. LOL Better safe than sorry... Hope that helps!
2. i would assume they design those things to be able to stay on for long periods of time. i guess it wouldnt hurt. might be hurting your electric bill a bit tho
