Are there any good and safe home remedies for a teething baby?

My son is nine months old and already has four teeth but his gums hurt a lot, we've tried several methods, popsicles, teething biscuits, tylenol and such but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other good home remedy methods that would help soothe him?

  1. Here is a link, something that has helped me for many different things including teething. http://www.purnoisetier.com/ take a look, it's not for everyone.
  2. wash cloth wet it and put it in the freezer then let him chew on it
  3. Frozen blue berries always worked for my daughter! have you ever used a mesh feeder? you can get them at walmart i think it is First years or gerber! there awesome! you can fill them with all kinds of stuff for them to safely naw on! good luck
  4. hylands best puts out a homeopathic teething drop that worked wonders for our daughter. they are all natural and she would calm down very quickly after we'd give them to her. you can also try frozen waffles
  5. put teething rings in the freezer and take one out when he needs it, also bagels in the freezer works like a charm for my neice
  6. Sometimes chewing on a wet washcloth helps... I have heard that vanilla extract helps... but I would assume because it has alcohol in it! I wouldn't recommend that... you know those finger toothbrushes they have for babies?? I find when he's cutting a tooth he loooooves to chew on that.. I put it on my finger and he goes to town on it. It helps cause it can get in the back too. It has gum massager on the non-bristle side. I just went to find a link for it and saw this: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2373658 That has a gum massager that vibrates and can get the back teeth ... i bet that would feel good on the gums! Just a thought..
  7. You need to use natural herbs like cloves, calendula, tarragon etc. Clove is the most effective one . Clove if applied will help to stop the pain immediately.
