Fallout 3 escape help?

im having trouble on fallout 3 escape mission its the one where you escape from vault 101 i have no pistol ammo i have a bb gun and fists are my only weapons 3 bars of health and when i turn on there is a gaurd beating the crap out of meand i can only run away from him if i run back to where a need to be i get attacked by about 10-15 radroaches! do i have to start again or is there someway i can pass it! o and i dont have any decent armour and no healing items

1. If you saved inches from death, then you probably should try using the auto-save instead. By restarting your game just a bit earlier, you might be able to avoid the mistakes you made. If that doesn't work, then you'll probably have to start over.
2. Well, when moments like these happen on Fallout 3 you have no other choice but to lower the difficulty (on options). WIth the lowered difficulty keep jumping and running, close doors on enemies try to get through a 'loading' door becuase when you go through 'loading' doors they stop chasing you. If possible try and find a bed to sleep in and regain to full health. If NON of these options work then you might have to load an auto save from when you last came through a 'loading' door. If this STILL doesn't work you might have to restart the game. But please only ever resort to restarting the game only if you have no other hoices what so ever, and please consider any other possibility first. I've finished the game and every side mission including short errands. I have discovered all locations, defeated every super muntant behmoth, have and will have every DLC on release date and have gained my skill to 20 several times using different methods.
