are all americans buried in a burial vault when they die?

or just some of them? by burial vault i mean the metal box the casket is placed in.

1. Most people choose an individual grave.
2. if by burial vault you mean a mausoleum...then, hell no..that costs MAD money. Most people are put into a grave 6 feet down, some people are cremated and their ashes are either spread somewhere or kept in an urn either at home or in a display case thing at a cemetery
