Should the Nationals open the bank vault to pay Stephen Strasburg, or should they draft another player?

It seems like there are so many #1 pick busts. Is this kid worth that much?

1. Draft the best pitching prospect ever. Strasburg!
2. Nobody is worth that much, he may be once in a lifetime but as you said therehave been so many busts. He is a great prospect but the money he wants is just ridiculous. Might as well just sign a proven veteran. Then again he is the best pitcher in NCAA history and may actually deserve that money more than anyone. Its a slippery slope though and Boras knows he can milk the Nationals because their such a bad team with not much of a future. I would love to see Strasburg go to the Mariners though because then he would be closer to me here in LA and maybe I could see him pitch haha. But I think they will take him and pay him the money and work something out. The 2nd best prospect is a 3rd baseman from UNC(North Carolina) and the Nats are secure at the 3rd base position with Zimmerman. So they will pay him. Even the team that spelled their own name wrongisnt stupid enough to pass up an opportunity of maybe the best pitching prospect in baseball history.
