Getting into a digital safe for adoption papers... Please help.?

My best friend is adopted, and she really wanted to find her birth parents. Her adoption papers are in her adopted dad's safe. Which is a digital safe. Her dad is in his office a lot, and is very protective over it. How would we be able to hack into the safe to get her papers? Asking her parents would be out of the question...
