could i deposit my 30k in a safe deposit box while i forclose...?

could I take my 30k and put it in a safey deposit box while i forclose on my home for 18months. I plan on milking it for a while live payment free and pay the condo, gas, food, and minor bills but not the mortgage. I don't care about my credit score period its 760's or something now, but i just want to hide my savings and rent when i finally get kicked out of my home. I'm losing my job and will only get a job that pays half of what i earn like around 27k per yr. I really don't care, i know people will say you are living above your means! grrr, but not really i'm losing my job period, and i have to do what's best for my family. I'll take a hit on my credit for 7-10yrs who cares. It's sad but it's what it is.
