Fallout 3 question about Butch..?

I just bought the game and played it for a while. During the part where your dad escapes the vault, Butch asks you to help him save his mom from radroaches, I helped him but after that, he starts shooting me with a BB gun so I kill him. Why the hell does he shoot me with the gun if i helped save his mom?

2. WTF? You probably shot him by accident? Anywhoo you should restart the game, its probably a glitch...cause hes supposed to give you a Tunnel Snake Jacket lol! Hope I helped :]
3. well you might have accidentely shot his mom once ya it happened to me and i blew his head and boy i think it hit next week
4. It's quite easy to accidentally hit his mum when taking out the roaches. Which would annoy him...a bit. Use V.A.T.S. mode as much as possible
