Do lifetime warranties on gun safes transfer?

I've seen a used Cannon gun safe for sale, and I know that they have lifetime warranties. Would the warranty transfer to me if I bought it? Also, does this apply to other safes with lifetime warranties? Thanks!

1. Most likely not. Warranties are granted to original owner, in most cases. Besides, a warranty is only as good as the company. Once they are out of business, the warranty is gone. If it is a reliable company, and makes a good product, go for it even if it's used.
