Jeff Dugan #83 pushed ref!!?

Do you think that Jeff shouldve gotten a penalty for pushing the ref blindsided in yesterday's game against the Steelers??? That was so uncalled for http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/videos/Harvins-Kickoff-Return-TD-vs-Steelers/355112b7-9779-4e18-80d0-55620b75fe99#?id=fdb84419-2fce-42e1-ac08-800295854ec0 its at 0:51 go steelers!

  1. no the ref shouldnt have ran in front of him. Also it is ironic because Dugan is the one that got that bogus tripping call and that ref is the one who got run over by him
  2. The Back Judge might have had better movement on that play, but Dugan definitely added a little extra shove to it. That was uncalled for and should earn him a fine from the league. Remember that a few plays earlier, Dugan committed a foul that brought back a Viking TD. I'm not one to think ill of someone, but could that have been a little revenge on his part?
  3. It was not uncalled for at all. The ref jumped in front of him and jeff was going so fast he couldn't do anything. GO COWBOYS
  4. Any ref that gets in the way of a player deserves to get flattened. It's part of the game. If they have a problem with that, maybe the refs should wear their own pads and helmets.
  5. Do you think that the penalty called on him for "Tripping" was correct? I guess you can say you won only because you stole that touch down call. You can protect you ref's all you want cuz they're on your side and you want them to call out penalties when you're down to help you stay on top. That ref should be penalized for calling a fake penalty.
  6. He should be fined. I am guessing that he was trying to block for the ball runner who was a good twenty yards ahead of him and only steps from the end zone.
  7. the NFL will definately review it
  8. He should not be fined or penalized or anything of the like. He was hustling down field - hoping to make a block on one of the Steelers trying to catch Percy Harvin - his head and eyes were looking towards the sideline and NOT at the ref - so he did NOT see him until the last second - so he put his arms out at full speed instead of running into him completely and really flattening him. Get some younger refs that can actually keep up with the speed of the game is the only thing the NFL will see when reviewing that play.
  9. No he was simply in the way. Ref's sigh a waver that they are an obstacle in the game so if there in the way they are forced to move. Saw a ref get his leg broke when i played
  10. Yes absolutely he should have gotten a penalty. He probably should be fined and maybe even suspended. In the heat of the moment it seems really funny, but you have to consider the following: 1. The ref is smaller 2. The ref isn't wearing pads 3. The ref isn't going to try to tackle Percy, he's essentially another blocker that Percy can use to his advantage 4 He hit the ref from behind. The ref could have been seriously hurt on the play. Granted maybe one of the refs deserves to be smacked for calling the tripping penalty, but the reality of the situation is that a ref can be injured much more easily than professional athletes wearing pads and helmets.
