Fallout 3 PC Horrible framerate problem!!?

I bought the game for PC from Steam yesterday and I was getting abround 6-7 FPS in the vault at the beginning. This morning I left the vault and it fell down to about 1-2 frames per second!! It is basically unplayable. When I look t the sky, though, it jumps up to 30-40 but and when I'm looking far into the distance it seems the worst. All of my settings are at the very lowest, and I've updated all of my drivers. I think it might be my ATI Radeon 1275 video card causing the problem. Yeah I'm on a laptop so I can't really change the card right? Are there any other ways to improve it at all?

  1. Since the minimum requirement is an X800 or GeForce 6800, your graphics card just isn't powerful enough to play the game properly. I know the naming system is confusing. Why would a 1275 be weaker than an 800? It's just the way they named the series. The X800 was a high-end, >$300 graphics card when it came out. The X1275 is a low-end integrated graphics processor or a cheap add-in card that is just not meant for gaming. Since you're on a laptop, there is really nothing you can do to get the game to work properly on hardware below the minimum specifications. You've already put the game on the lowest settings and it still doesn't work. There's nothing else you can do other than get a new computer with a supported graphics card.
  2. graphic card is always not a problem ia suggest you to use a multi core processor like intel core 2 duo.
