while im on vacation, is it safe to bring a computer back home in my check in?ould you like to ask?

how should i go about doing so? should i mark the luggage w/ arrows

1. I don't think that's a good idea. The luggage really gets thrown around. I'd have it shipped UPS. It would probably be cheaper too with what they charge now for a second bag.
2. I always travel with a laptop and I take it on the plane with me. Did you mean a huge desktop computer? You have to pack that in its original packing box, secure the disk drives etc. and check it in as cargo or baggage. If it is packed properly you should be ok just mark it well as computer. Baggage handlers can read, contrary to what others may tell you.
