wet wall. Is it safe to turn the wall mounted electric heater on?
Allegedly it rained down the chimney and a massive wet patch is showing on the wall (about a meter high from the ground). On the same spot I have a wall mounted electric heater and a socket. Am I safe to turn the heating on?! (I won't know how else to dry that wall...) many thanks!

- no get it looked at
- NO. WAIT FOR THE WET WALL TO DRY OUT. And then sort out why water's getting into your home before turning on any sort of heat, powered by electricity!!
- NOT, Use a fan plugged in from a dry wall. Get the leak fixed. You may have to remove the dry wall board and repair the leak. Depends on where the water is coming from.
- No you will have to ask someone in to look at it. Water can come from the remotest of places.
- Electrocution may be in order. NOT SAFE, it is just the thing water and electricity mix well. Forced air space heaters are in order.
