Which of the following is true about the pyramids? A. They contained the pharaoh's most valued possessions. B. They told of the king's victories in war. C. They were the tombs of pharaohs who were heroes in battle. D. They formed the burial vaults for kings in the New Kingdom. Forgot to take out answer C.. Its either A B or D. the correct answer is A

1. The Pharaohs were buried in them.
2. Well, D is out because they were built in the Old Kingdom. There are no hieroglyphs on the walls of the chambers in the pyramids, so B is out. Also C, since they don't say anything about the kings, and Old Kingdom pharaohs tended to stay close to home; there really wasn't anybody else to fight. My guess would be A, although they were plundered early in their history and it's hard to tell what they contained since, again, they contain no writing to tell what was in them.
