I have some leftover quesadillas that I forgot about in the car, are they still good?
I ate Mexican for lunch today at around 12:30, and I took some food in a to go box home, and forgot about it in the car. It's 7:00 pm now. They are quesadillas and still in the to go box. Are they safe to eat? They smell pretty good still.

- Depends on if it is a warm day...If warm out I wouldn't eat them If a its a cool day out..heck they should be just fine.
- well thats pretty much a gamble...I personally wouldnt if there was meat in them, but some people have stronger stomachs than others. I have seen people eat food that has been left out overnight and they were fine.
- No they are not.During the course of the day the bacteria in the food multiplied.Food should be stored below 40 degrees or kept at a heat of at least 140 degrees for it to be safe.Bacteria rapidly multiply in between these temperatures and the food may look or even smell good but it is not.Do not risk getting sick.Throw it out.
