Safe Luxury

How far would you go to protect your family from a home invader?

Your home should be your safe haven; a place where you and your family (kids, spouse, etc) should be able to eat, sleep, relax, be happy and content. I think more people should learn to respect your home, and the boundaries of your property, whether it's a door, gate, sidewalk, etc. If a thief or burglar invades my property, I feel I'm well within my rights to protect my family to the fullest extent of the law. If I even suspect that my family's lives or well-being is in danger, I'm going to take ANY action I feel is necessary to keep them safe. When a thief makes a decision to steal, he should also realize he's taking his life into his own hands. A homeowner has NO idea if a thief has a weapon, or what kind. If I confront a thief in my living room, and I have a gun handy, I'll shoot to kill. He's definitely not getting by me, if I can help it. Now, with all that in mind, what is your opinion on this?

  1. I agree with you completely.....I keep two guns loaded in my home...just for this kind of situation....and I'll unload every bullet on them....they wont be leaving*
  2. In defense of family - a life or death situation, I would kill or be killed. If all that's at stake is my big screen t.v., I'll help you carry it out. It's insured and not worth a human life, even a misguided one!!!
  3. I agree...I have a gun and I WILL shoot to kill....and I mean I will unload my gun and make sure they don't get up...I have seen too many movies, shows, etc. where the perp gets back up and comes after you again. Also, my uncle, whom is a Sheriff told me to make sure they are dead because they can come back and sue you for injuries!!!
  4. yeh i agree with every word you said.. last night i thought i heard someone trying to open the shop i took a knife with me so i would of used it if i found someone.. : - )
