What services Need to continue to run on your computer?

I have a windows vista home premium... my computer is running slow because i have 72 processes running... my CPU is 4% .. and my Physical Memory is at 83% .. I already tried to disable and turn off some services but i disabled the wrong ones.. So then i decided to enabled all of the services on my computer to start over.... Can anyone tell me which services have to continue to run in order for my computer to work properly?? so that i know which ones are safe to disable

1. How did you disable services and which services? The usual first step is Msconfig's Diagnostic startup. Your system doesn't _need_ any of those startup files, although you might like some of them.
