Is LSD harmful AT ALL?

the only thing i ever found that was a negative side effect was that you can have flashbacks later in life, and bad trips really suck. but theres nothing else really serious that i've heard. also, please dont tell me it bakes your brain bleed because that is a myth. and yes, i have cheecked out the Erowid Vaults site. anyone know any REAL negative side effects?

LSD is SCARY! Don't take it, you'll regret it.
It is very possible that it will lead you to schizophrenia. And if you have a bad trip you will be scared shitless in one big haulcination and it will suck hardcore.
I dunno. go to http://www.erowid.com they probably have something about it. They have every drug and experience and effect ever.

Do something like mushrooms over LSD. Not that I am saying "do mushrooms", but if you are going to take a hallucinogen it might as well be mushrooms. At least you aren't ingesting harsh chemicals. Don't do LSD.
Not really. I have known a few peeps who seem fried, but they usually come with stories of MASSIVE lsd doses often lasting for days at a time. I have done it probably a dozen or so times, and I feel great. :)
To tell you the truth, not really.... Unless you take an extremely high dose, which I'm assuming you won't. The only thing that I think is dangerous is the things you can do while tripping. One time I almost jumped off the balcony of my house trying to ride a ladybug (i know, wtf?). Your mind is unleashed, and as you already know, it's not always happy thoughts.
lsd stores itself in the body's fat cells. Thats where you hear the stories about flashbacks. Someone looses a little weight and woooong they take a trip and never leave the farm...Flashbacks sucks cause no one likes to be totally out of control with a surprise attack. Planning to be out of control is a little different than what LSD brings to the table. I would personally stick with the mushrooms. Same kind of high. And oh yes LSD DOES cause brain cells to explode on contact. No brain bleeding...But the chemical does blow the sht out of them with out that reaction there would be no colors no fading and the fried condition after your down should be a clue as to what was going on in your skull. If your mood is low when you drop it the trip will not be nice... Minus the feeling something 'bad' is going to drop on you.
LSD causes your brain to have to have small ceizure like symptoms. It will affect memory, perception, comprehension, and will make you dillusional. A major side effect of LSD it that it gets trapped in your spine, and it can put you on a permanent trip. True LSD at one time was thought to be less harmful. Keep in mind that the stuff you buy on the street is usually immitation, with stuff in it that can kill you. Just like ecstacy, some people can die using LSD and i wouldnt reccommend doing it just because you havent heard anything bad about it.
Lsd don have any negative side effects in most cases. Real bad trips happen only in high (60s) dosis, the actual bad trips are nothing compared to that. Flashbacks are less common than people says, and there other kind of flashbacks in live, like a dead of a close friend, when you really fall in love, etc... The only thing really prooved is that you can go crazy, if you have a history of crazyness in your family, like a latent crazyness. Lsd is one of the most secure "drugs" ever made. If you want to try lsd, remember, allways with people who you trust.
