Is it safe to buy a used microsoft office home and student 2007 software from amazon? it's used though..?

I just don't want to spend the full price if i can buy it cheaper elsewhere?

1. If it is used, then it has almost certainly been registered, which would mean that it would be illegal for you to use it HOWEVER, Why use Microsoft Office? I would urge you to take a look at Open Office - www.openoffice.org This is a product that, if anything, is BETTER than Microsoft Office, and it is FREE. It is an open source product that has been created by people who are happy to work on it in their spare time, for the fun of so doing. It is also completely compatible with the MS offering, so you can always open any document that was created on MS Office, and any document that you create can be opened on MS Office.
