Fallout 3 troubles...?

Got an xbox for christmas and got mw2 and fallout 3. Fallout 3....it was very tricky to me and once out of the vault i didnt know where the hell to go? How can i enjoy this game?..... Where to go, what items to stock up on, what to do first...advice....? Is there some kind of video that shows you every thing? And wherever i go i get attacked by dogs and cant kill them...

1. The Game is very fun once you get far into it. at the start of the game you have to go to megaton it should sho up on ur map. in the beginning ur going to want to be ussing pistol laser pistol or if u can get ur hands on a sniper it would be good too
2. stock up on food but not to much, make every shot count and try not to waste bullets hitting someone for away
3. There is a city called megaton that is not far from the vault exit. your quest marker (on your compass below your HP) on the bottom left of your screen will show you where it is. As far as dogs just press start go to settings and adjust the game play difficulty to one that suits you. Hope this helped if you need more help just ask.
4. first off i am going to give you a basic layout of what to do once you get out of the vault, now if you want a thorough and very helpful walk through just go to http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki. Once you get out of the vault you will have a 10mm, your vault suit, and some ammo (unless you looted while you were in the vault, which means you could have some of the following: baseball bat, police baton, BB gun, and some of the guards' attire.) This doesn't leave you with much but it will last for the moment. Now before I go any further, when you leave the vault you should level up, have your explosive skills to at least to at least 25 or this game is going to be that much harder, I'll explain why in a moment. Now right when you leave the vault if you look slightly towards your right and you should see a structure, a big clump of metal in a way, go to it. When you approach it you will see it is actually a settlement called Megaton. Upon entering you'll meet the sheriff, he will give you some basic information about the town and about your father. One thing you will find out is that there is an undetonated atomic bomb in the center of the town and you can then acquire the mission "The Power of the Atom" this means that you have to disarm the bomb ( this is where the 25 explosive skill is needed.) However if your character is more of a bad ass then instead you can head to the bar and meet Mr. Burke and he will give you the mission to destroy the town. Which ever way you choose, you will ed up with a house, money, and a lot of positive/negative Karma. From here it should be a lot easier as far as supplies and structure which will allow for much easier mission completion. 5. yeah theres videos that show you what to do on youtube... if you just got out of bault i recomend going to megaton look at your pipboy
6. go to megaton disarm the bomb and you'll get a house and have fun after that.
