What is safer to have... a safe or a safety deposit box?

What is safer to store financial savings in...a fireproof safe in your home? Or a safety deposit box in the bank???

1. depends on if the government needs money or not
2. If it's just a tiny safe, someone could always walk into your house and take that. Deposit box is safer.
3. a safety deposit box is insured by the bank. it depends on the value of the contents as to the amount that will be covered
4. Most home safes can bolt to the floor, making removal difficult. Once you pay off the safe 50-200$ (or more) there is no more payments. Safety deposit boxs are always rented$$$ And the home safe is never closed, never transferred to another bank.
