How many vaults are in fallout 3?

I just want to know how many vaults there are in the game.

2. 6 are reachable, while an additional 2 can be read or heard about but not found. The six are 87, 92, 101, 106, and 108. The other 2 mentioned are 76 (mentioned in one of the Citadel terminals) and 77 (mentioned only in passing by a holo-tape left beside a jumpsuit from the vault).
