What is the scariest video game you have ever played?

I remember when I was six, my dad was playing Gabriel Knight 3, and I was watching. There is a tour group at one point, and one woman screams. The screen shows two guys, lying on a stone, their heads cut off. Also, Fallout 3 was quite freaky. In one of the vaults, there is some hallucinogenic gas, and you see your dad. You try to follow him, but he keeps disappearing. Then, a scientist runs at you, and turns into Butch, and then back. Also, in the Dunwich building, you see a vision of this guy, and then it goes back to normal, and there is a zombie, and it runs at you. Doom 3 had its moments as well. What is the scariest video game you have ever played? Also, in Gabriel Knight 3, when you play as the woman (Grace, I think her name was), you hear a baby cry. You climb through a window, and the crying is coming from a trunk. You open it, and you scream. But it's only a doll. And then an old man comes up the stairs, and you have to hide before he finds you! @SUPERMAN is my name: Yeah; the sound of the feral ghouls' feet squelching on the ground was horrible. I had to run forward and then back, trying to get them to follow me, because I didn't want to face them. But after I'd faced Yao Gui and similar, I was fine. But I still can't kill Deathclaws. But feral ghouls were definitely the scariest. The first time I saw them was on the way to the radio station (you know, Three Dog), and I heard them, but I couldn't see them. I caught a glimpse of them, and I ran out! Doom 3: The part where you go into the surgery room, and something sits up! The part where you crawl under the floor, get out, turn around, go through the door, and there is a message written on the wall in blood! The part where you open a door and those things (like Trijans from Far Cry) run at you. I had to shoot, and they were coming so fast that my friend told me where to aim next. :D

  4. Condemned criminal origins hands down.
  5. fear 2... that little girl scares me D=
  6. The first FEAR game. The atmosphere was incredible.
  7. Doom 64. The first time I came across The Cyberdemon in Level 17: Watch Your Step, I damn near s**t myself! At the time, that thing was horrifying to fight especially when it shoots rockets at you and can kill you in one or two hits even if you have a full 200 health and armor.
  8. Silent Hill for PlayStation 1. Oh my god. That thing had me trembling and my hands sweating every time the radio started making noise signaling a nearby monster, because you never know if it's going to be a pterodactyl or a dog or a zombie. Then when you actually see them coming... ah, freaky! And the whole theme is just dark. I have to go play it now on my emulator. Darn you, I had productive plans for today. >:(
  9. silent hill. creepy shit man. first time i played it i was 10. i couldnt even play past the first cut-scene. i remember running to my PS1 (old school or what ;) ) and turning it off asap.
  10. Well one of my relatives were playing this game called Dead Rising (I'm not sure if that's the right title) and she had to kill zombies and you would see blood every where! Creepy huh? Yeah LOL. :)
  11. Fallout 3 and Oblivion were both very creepy in the dungeons with their creepy music. The ghouls in Fallout were almost traumatizing especially when you hear them breathing fast as they run up behind you in a dark and abandoned tunnel. It's even worse, like you said, in the dunwich building because of the illusions and the whole thing about the curse that has to do with the Point Lookout add-on. Oblivion wasn't as creepy but there were just some things about it.... Having finished BioShock, Dead Space, Resident Evil 1-3, and Silent Hill 1-3, I guess Fallout and Oblivion were worse because they were so much more unpredictable to me. I guess having a giant open world with a non-linear structure had something to do with it. However, Fallout and Oblivion (plus BioShock) are some of my favorite and unforgettable games.
  12. I played this one game where you play as Japanese Tourists and your in a haunted place and all you have is video cameras. You have to take pictures of ghost and captures their souls.
