Is it safe to have more than 2 browsers on your computer?
I have IE7 and Safari installed in my computer. I have Vista Home Premium in it. IE crashes a lot and I'm in the process of downloading Firefox, which is the one recommended by everybody as the best. I'm afraid having more than 2 browsers will interfere and the computer wont work correctly. I am not an expert and I want to make sure that wont happen. I truly appeciate your help. Thanks.

- It's safer if you use firefox. Of course it's safe!! I have 3 browsers and use them for different stuff.
- browsers don't interfere with each other your fine. As far as i know, only anti-virus programs interfere with eachother on windows.
- i have five, GOOGLE CHROME. IS TE EASIEST AND FASTEST ONE
- Tell you what ... i have IE 7, safari, google chrome, opera and firefox ... he he, my PC is 3 years old and I haven't faced a single problem relating to browsers. I sometimes even run them simultaneously.
- Actually it is better to have many browsers. Example is you can test a certain website if it works properly on that browser. Your question is, is it safe? * Yes. Browsers do not have conflicts if they are on the same computer. * Most people uses two or more browsers to satisfy their specific needs like [If they want fast browsing] - Use Google Chrome [If they want many plugins (automatic download videos, identify page ranks, etc.) - Use Firefox Hope this will help. =]
